Service Area

Century City event DJ, lighting & production

Century City is corporate work. High-rise office floors, hotel ballrooms and screening rooms, where the production is usually a presentation, a gala or a client event, and the hard part is the building rather than the equipment.

What you can book

Services for Century City events

The building sets the schedule

High-rise venues run on freight-elevator reservations, dock windows and building engineering sign-off. A load-in that would take an hour at ground level becomes a staged operation when every case goes up in a lift on a booked slot. We confirm the dock time, the lift dimensions and the certificate-of-insurance requirements with the building before the date, and we size the crew to the access rather than to the gear list.

Where a venue requires house labour or has its own rules about who may touch what, we work to those. We would rather establish it in advance than argue it on a loading dock.

Presentation AV that does not fail in front of the room

Corporate events here are judged on whether the slides came up, the microphones worked and the speaker could be heard at the back. We run laptops, PowerPoint and Keynote through our own video processing to an LED wall or projection, handle lectern and lavalier microphones, and keep a technician on the desk through the event rather than setting up and leaving.

For panels and keynotes, the questions we ask early are how many inputs, who is presenting from what, and whether anything needs to be recorded or sent to a remote audience. Camera work and livestreaming we provide with a production partner, and we say so plainly rather than implying it is in-house.

Galas and brand events in ballroom space

The same rooms host award dinners and brand evenings, where the LED wall carries content through dinner and the room turns into a dance floor afterwards. Running both out of one rig — content playback, stage lighting, speech audio and then a DJ system — is the common Century City brief, and it is cheaper and cleaner than treating them as two productions.

Settings

Where Century City events usually happen

The kinds of settings we plan for here. Naming a type of venue is not a claim that we have worked at any particular property.

Getting there

Delivery, setup and crew

Century City is inside our Los Angeles County coverage, with a same-day load-in and load-out from Tarzana. Crew hours are quoted per event, because building access windows affect setup time more than the drive does.

Warehouse and showroom in Tarzana available by appointment only. Every booking includes delivery, setup, on-site operation and breakdown by our own crew unless you have specifically arranged otherwise.

Questions

Century City questions

Do you serve events in Century City?

Yes. Century City is named in our service coverage. Our crew and equipment load out from our Tarzana warehouse.

What do you charge to travel to Century City?

Travel, crew time and any lodging are scoped per event in the proposal rather than published as a rate, because they depend on the venue, the date and how much equipment the design needs. We would rather quote it accurately than average it.

Do you bring your own equipment or sub-rent locally?

Our own. The sound, lighting and LED inventory arrives on our truck and is operated by the crew that programmed it. Nothing is sub-rented into the market.

Can you provide a certificate of insurance for our venue?

Yes. We are fully insured and can provide a certificate of insurance to any venue on request. Where a property has its own documentation requirements, we confirm those directly with them for your date.

Which services can you provide for a Century City event?

DJ and MC, sound, intelligent lighting, LED video walls, staging and special effects, live musicians, and AV equipment rental — as a full production from one team or as individual elements.
