Audio Visual Company Los Angeles — one production partner for the whole event.

Professional event audio, video, LED walls, projection and lighting from a single Los Angeles AV company. We scope the event, install it, run it and strike it — so you are hiring accountability, not coordinating vendors.

Full-Service Audio Visual Production

Most events do not fail on equipment. They fail in the gaps between vendors — the microphone nobody tested, the presentation that will not display, the lighting that was set for dinner and never changed for the speeches. A full-service audio visual company closes those gaps by taking responsibility for the whole technical picture: event audio, video and LED displays, projection, event lighting and the technical production that ties them together. That includes the unglamorous half of the job — site survey, power and rigging, load-in scheduling, setup, on-site support through the event, and strike afterwards. We have been doing this in Los Angeles since 2009, and we own and program the lighting and LED ourselves rather than passing it down the chain.

What we cover

Audio, video, lighting and LED from one team

Each element below can be booked on its own, but they are designed to be delivered together — one scope, one crew, one point of contact.

Event Audio

Sound the whole room can actually hear

Speech-first system design for presentations, panels and toasts, plus full-range sound for music and live performance. Wireless microphones, lectern and lavalier options, and an engineer on site when the programme needs one.

Video & LED

LED walls, screens and projection

High-resolution LED video walls for stages, entrances and branded content, and projection where the room, the budget or the image size calls for it. Content playback, live camera feeds and presentation switching included.

Lighting & Crew

Programmed lighting, load-in and on-site support

Uplighting, moving heads, wash and pin spotting, programmed in-house on grandMA3 rather than run from a generic show file. Our crew manages load-in, cabling, show operation and teardown.

AV Services for Corporate and Live Events

The technical requirements change completely depending on what the room is being asked to do, so we scope each format on its own terms rather than sending the same package everywhere.

Corporate meetings & conferences

Presentation playback and switching, projection or LED, lectern and panel microphones, and speech-intelligible sound in rooms that were rarely designed for it. Multi-session days need a technician on site, not just equipment in the corner.

Brand activations & launches

Screens and content that carry the brand rather than fight it, audio scaled to a space people move through, and lighting that photographs properly — activations live or die on how they look in the coverage afterwards.

Galas & fundraisers

Programme audio for speeches and awards, video for tribute and appeal content, and a lighting look that shifts between dinner, programme and dance without anyone noticing the transition.

Conferences & presentations

Reliable playback is the whole job. Slides, video, remote presenters and recorded or streamed output, tested before doors rather than during the first session.

Private events

Weddings, milestone birthdays and celebrations where the AV has to disappear into the room — clean sound, no visible cable runs, and lighting built for the specific space.

Live events & performance

Full-range sound for performers and DJs, stage and effects lighting, and video support, with a crew who can run a show cue by cue rather than set levels and walk away.

Audio, Video, Lighting & LED Under One Production Partner

If you already know what you need, the pages below go straight to the detail on each service — specifications, what is included, and how each one is quoted.

Equipment rental

Our audio visual equipment rental hub covers the full inventory when you want gear rather than a full production scope.

LED walls & video

LED wall rental in Los Angeles for stages, entrances, branded content and live camera feeds.

Projection

Projector and screen rental where a large image, controlled light or budget makes projection the better answer than LED.

Sound

Sound system rental covering speech, music and live performance, with engineers where the programme calls for one.

Lighting

Event lighting in Los Angeles — uplighting, moving heads, wash and pin spotting, programmed for your specific room.

Full production

Event production for the whole show, or corporate event production where the programme is the priority. Structure is covered under staging and scenic design.

Los Angeles AV Company for Venues and Event Teams

We are booked directly by hosts, and just as often by the people managing the event on their behalf. The working relationship is different in each case, so we adapt to it rather than expecting everyone to work our way.

Planners and producers

You need scope, timing and pricing you can put in front of a client without caveats, and a vendor who turns up when the run sheet says. We quote in detail, flag what a room will not support before it becomes your problem, and communicate directly with the venue about power, rigging and load-in windows.

Venues and hotels

Where a property has an in-house AV provider, we work alongside them as an outside production company — house requirements, insurance and access agreed in advance. Our hotel AV page covers how that arrangement usually runs.

Companies and agencies

Internal meetings, conferences, launches and client events, with the paperwork side handled properly — certificates of insurance, venue documentation and invoicing that will pass a procurement process.

Private clients

One point of contact from the first conversation to the final teardown, and no expectation that you already know the technical vocabulary. Describe the event you want; we will tell you what it takes to build it.

How we work

From first call to final strike

  1. 01

    Scope the event

What the room has to do, how many people, what the programme includes, and where the budget should go first.

  2. 02

    Survey the venue

Power, rigging points, ceiling height, sightlines, load-in access and time windows — checked before anything is quoted as final.

  3. 03

    Install and test

Load-in, build, cable, focus and program, with everything tested before doors rather than during the first session.

  4. 04

    Run and strike

On-site support through the event, then a clean teardown and load-out on the venue's schedule.

Why Work With NXL

Four things genuinely separate one Los Angeles AV company from another, and they are all worth asking any vendor you are considering.

We own and program our lighting and LED

Not sourced on the day from whoever is available. Our lighting and LED inventory is ours, and it is programmed in-house on grandMA3 lighting programming and control — so cues are built for your room rather than adapted from a generic show file.

One team across every element

Audio, video, lighting and LED on one scope and one cue sheet. When something needs solving at 6pm, there is one crew in the room who can solve it, not three companies establishing whose responsibility it is.

Working since 2009

Long enough to have seen most of the ways a room can go wrong, and to plan around them. Our warehouse and showroom is in Tarzana. Warehouse and showroom in Tarzana available by appointment only.

Insured and venue-ready

Commercially insured, with certificates issued directly to the venue. Venue requirements, load-in rules and access restrictions are handled as part of the job rather than raised as surprises.

Behind the reveal

The half of the job nobody photographs

Load-in, build and strike at a Los Angeles venue — the hours that decide whether the room looks finished when the doors open.

FAQ

Audio visual company questions

What does an audio visual company actually do?

An AV company owns the technical side of an event: the sound the room hears, the screens and projection it watches, the lighting it sits in, and the crew who install, run and remove all of it. Renting equipment gets you the boxes. Hiring an AV company gets you someone accountable for whether the presentation plays, the microphone works and the room looks right on the day.

What is the difference between renting AV equipment and hiring an AV company?

Rental is transactional — you specify what you need and it arrives. Full service means we scope the event first, recommend what it actually requires, then deliver, install, operate and strike it with our own crew. If you already know your list, our rental pages are the faster route. If you are working out what the event needs, this is the conversation to have.

Do you provide audio, video and lighting together, or separately?

Together, and that is the point. Sound, lighting, LED and projection running on one plan and one crew removes the coordination problem that appears when three vendors meet for the first time on load-in day. You can still book any single element on its own.

Do you work with venues and their in-house AV departments?

Yes. Many Los Angeles hotels and venues have an in-house AV provider, and we regularly work alongside one as an outside production company — power, rigging points, load-in windows and house sound are agreed in advance rather than negotiated on the day.

Can you support corporate meetings and conferences, not just parties?

Yes. Presentation playback, projection and LED, panel and lectern microphones, speaker support and recorded or streamed content are routine work for us, alongside galas, brand activations, launches and private events.

Do you own your equipment or subcontract it?

We own our lighting and LED inventory and program it in-house on grandMA3 lighting programming and control. That is the difference between several vendors hoping to coordinate and one team accountable for the whole show.

Are you insured, and can you provide a certificate for our venue?

Yes, for any venue. We are commercially insured — send us the venue's requirements and we submit the certificate directly.

What areas do you serve?

We work throughout Los Angeles and the surrounding areas, and our warehouse and showroom is in Tarzana. Warehouse and showroom in Tarzana available by appointment only.

How far in advance should we book an AV company?

Peak-season Saturdays book six to twelve months out. Weekday and off-peak dates are often available on shorter notice — ask regardless and we will tell you what is open.
