Downtown is the widest range of rooms we work in: convention and hotel ballrooms with full docks at one end, raw lofts and warehouse venues with a freight lift and not much else at the other. The production question is almost always what the building provides and what we have to bring.

Dock, lift and street access decide the crew
Purpose-built venues here have docks, scheduled load-in windows and house rules about labour and insurance. Loft and warehouse venues often have none of that: one lift, a street with metered parking, and a building manager who needs notice. Both are workable, but they need different crew sizes and different call times, so we establish which we are dealing with before quoting.
Where a venue requires house labour, specific insurance, or has restrictions on rigging, we confirm it with the property rather than assuming. We also ask about street access and loading restrictions early, because downtown is where that most often changes the plan.
Raw venues need a full package, not a partial one
A loft or industrial space is attractive because it is blank, and blank means no house sound, no stage lighting, often no sensible power distribution and sometimes poor acoustics. A hard-surfaced room with high ceilings will fight a badly specified system, and that is a design problem rather than a volume problem.
We bring the full package to those rooms — sound, lighting, power distribution, LED or projection, and a technician through the night — and we say up front what the space does not give you, so the budget reflects the real job rather than a ballroom assumption.

Downtown Los Angeles is inside our Los Angeles County coverage, with a same-day load-in and load-out from Tarzana. Call times are planned around traffic and the venue's dock window rather than around distance.
Warehouse and showroom in Tarzana available by appointment only. Every booking includes delivery, setup, on-site operation and breakdown by our own crew unless you have specifically arranged otherwise.

Yes. We are fully insured and can provide a certificate of insurance to any venue on request. Where a property has its own documentation requirements, we confirm those directly with them for your date.
