Service Area

Santa Monica event DJ, lighting & production

Santa Monica runs two kinds of event side by side: corporate and conference work in hotels and office space, and weddings and parties in beachfront and rooftop venues a few blocks away. They share one constraint — getting a truck in and parked.

What you can book

Services for Santa Monica events

Access and parking are the local planning problem

Venues near the beach and along the main corridors rarely have a dedicated dock, and loading is often onto a busy street with its own restrictions. Where a venue has a loading zone, it is usually shared and time-limited. We confirm what is actually available with the property, and we plan the carry distance into the crew size rather than discovering it on the day.

Crew parking matters here in a way it does not inland. For a long event with a technician on site through the night, that is a cost and a logistics question we would rather settle in advance than improvise.

Coastal rooms, and what the ocean does to them

Rooftops, terraces and beachfront lawns are the draw, and they bring wind, marine air and a sharp temperature drop after sunset. Wind affects what can safely go on a stand or be flown, and the evening cool-down affects how long guests stay outside — which is a real consideration when the dance floor is on a terrace.

Our LED panels are outdoor-rated and we do run the wall outdoors, so a screen on a terrace is genuinely possible. We do not promise rain or all-weather operation, and any outdoor structure is confirmed with the venue against the conditions on the day.

Conference and presentation support

The corporate side here is conferences, product days and client evenings. We run presentations from laptops through our own video processing to an LED wall or projection, cover lectern and lavalier microphones, and keep a technician on the desk for the duration. Camera work and livestreaming are provided with a production partner, which we state rather than implying it is in-house.

Settings

Where Santa Monica events usually happen

The kinds of settings we plan for here. Naming a type of venue is not a claim that we have worked at any particular property.

Getting there

Delivery, setup and crew

Santa Monica is inside our Los Angeles County coverage, with a same-day load-in and load-out from Tarzana. Call times are planned around traffic and venue loading restrictions rather than distance.

Warehouse and showroom in Tarzana available by appointment only. Every booking includes delivery, setup, on-site operation and breakdown by our own crew unless you have specifically arranged otherwise.

Questions

Santa Monica questions

Do you serve events in Santa Monica?

Yes. Santa Monica is named in our service coverage. Our crew and equipment load out from our Tarzana warehouse.

What do you charge to travel to Santa Monica?

Travel, crew time and any lodging are scoped per event in the proposal rather than published as a rate, because they depend on the venue, the date and how much equipment the design needs. We would rather quote it accurately than average it.

Do you bring your own equipment or sub-rent locally?

Our own. The sound, lighting and LED inventory arrives on our truck and is operated by the crew that programmed it. Nothing is sub-rented into the market.

Can you provide a certificate of insurance for our venue?

Yes. We are fully insured and can provide a certificate of insurance to any venue on request. Where a property has its own documentation requirements, we confirm those directly with them for your date.

Which services can you provide for a Santa Monica event?

DJ and MC, sound, intelligent lighting, LED video walls, staging and special effects, live musicians, and AV equipment rental — as a full production from one team or as individual elements.
