An arrival is the most photographed twenty feet of an event and the least forgiving. Everything in front of the step-and-repeat ends up in somebody’s camera, and whatever was wrong with the lighting is still wrong in every picture the next morning.

We provide the technical production layer for premieres, launches, gala arrivals and entertainment-industry events in Los Angeles: lighting, sound, LED displays, staging, microphones and playback, set up and run by our own crew.

Red carpet production

The carpet itself is a lighting problem before it is anything else. Guests arrive, stop, turn and are photographed, usually against a branded backdrop and often with a camera operator working close in. We light the carpet and the backdrop evenly, place fixtures where they will not glare into an arriving guest’s eyes, and keep the surrounding entrance bright enough that the area reads as one space.

Around it sits the rest of the production: entrance music and playback, a host or announcement microphone, branded LED displays, and the technical coordination to keep load-in and the running order on schedule with the venue.

Premieres, launches and industry events

These share one shape: a timed arrival, a branded environment and a programme that cannot drift. For the wider corporate version of this work, see corporate event production, or our event production overview.

Step-and-repeat lighting

A step-and-repeat is a sponsor deliverable, not decoration. Lit from one side it throws shadows across the logos; lit too hard it blows out and the branding disappears. Lit flat and even, every photograph taken in front of it carries the names that paid for it legibly.

That matters most where photographs and video are actually being taken: arrivals, interview positions and press areas. We light those areas. Photography, video and press relations themselves sit with your own team.

LED and branded visuals

LED displays can carry sponsor logos, event branding, animated content, a countdown, or a branded entrance treatment. We display content supplied by you, your brand team or your designer, and we test it on the actual wall before doors rather than on the night. See LED wall rental for the displays themselves.

Sound, lighting and staging

Sound. Host and announcement microphones, entrance playback and distributed audio so the carpet, the reception and any interview area each sit at their own level. See sound system rental.

Lighting. Arrival and photo lighting, architectural uplighting on the entrance, moving-head looks inside where the programme calls for it, and colour matched to the event’s branding. See event lighting.

Staging and truss. Small stages, risers and truss-supported lighting. Staging and scenic elements are arranged through our staging and scenic partners rather than fabricated in-house.

One production team

Sound, lighting, LED, playback, microphones and a DJ or MC where the event needs one, delivered by the same crew on one contract. The colour decisions, the cue timings and the load-in are settled once with you rather than relayed between separate vendors on the day.

Camera, livestream and multi-camera production are coordinated through trusted production partners as part of a complete package, subject to crew and equipment availability.

What we do, and what we don’t

We handle

  • Arrival, carpet and step-and-repeat lighting
  • Sound, microphones and entrance playback
  • LED displays and branded visual playback
  • Small stages, risers and truss
  • DJ and MC where the event needs one
  • Setup, on-site operation and strike
  • Technical coordination with the venue

We are not

  • A PR or media-relations agency
  • A celebrity or talent booking agency
  • A talent-management company
  • A photography or video production company
  • A security provider

We work alongside those teams from the production side. Saying so plainly saves everybody a conversation.

Is this the right fit?

A good fit if you need

  • A polished, well-lit arrival environment
  • Branded lighting and visuals
  • LED displays for sponsors or event branding
  • Sound and microphones for hosts and announcements
  • One technical team across the whole production

Probably not a fit if

  • You only need celebrity or talent booking
  • You only need PR or press outreach
  • You need photography or video crew rather than production
  • What you need sits outside the services listed above

Start planning your event

Tell us the date, the venue and what the arrival needs to look like. We will come back with what we would bring and what it would cost.

What happens next: We review your details and reply within one business day (Mon–Fri). Prefer to talk? Call or text 818-916-4058.

Do you provide red carpet lighting?

Yes. Arrival lighting is its own problem: it has to be even enough for cameras, flattering at close range, and placed where it will not blind a guest walking towards it. We light the carpet, the step-and-repeat and the surrounding entrance so the area reads as one environment rather than a lit backdrop in a dark room.

Can you light a step-and-repeat?

Yes, and it is worth doing properly. A step-and-repeat lit from the wrong angle throws shadows across the logos, and sponsors notice. We light it flat and even so the branding is legible in every photograph taken in front of it.

Can you provide microphones and sound?

Yes. Host and announcement microphones, entrance playback, and distributed audio so the arrival area, the reception and any interview zone each sit at the right level instead of competing. See our sound system rental page for what the systems themselves cover.

Can you provide LED walls for logos or sponsor content?

Yes. LED displays can carry sponsor logos, event branding, animated content or a countdown. We display content you or your brand team supply, or content supplied through your designer. Tell us the screen size you have in mind and we will tell you what fits the entrance.

Do you provide staging or truss?

Small stages, risers and truss to support lighting can be included. Staging and scenic elements are arranged through our staging and scenic partners rather than fabricated by us, and we will tell you which parts those are when we scope the event.

Can you provide a certificate of insurance for the venue?

Yes. We are fully insured and provide a certificate of insurance on request for any venue. Send us the venue's vendor requirements and we will have the certificate issued before load-in.

Can you support product launches and branded events?

Yes. A launch and a premiere share the same production problem: an arrival moment, a branded environment, and a programme that has to run on time. Lighting, sound, LED and playback are the same toolkit.

Can you provide DJ and MC services as well?

Yes. We are a DJ and MC company as well as a production company, so entrance music, a reception set and an MC can be part of the same booking and the same contract rather than a separate vendor to coordinate.

Do you handle PR, press invitations or celebrity booking?

No. We are the technical production team. Publicity, press invitations, talent booking and celebrity management sit with your own PR or talent team, and we work alongside them rather than replacing them.

Can you work with a planner, PR agency, venue or brand team?

Yes, and it is how most of these events run. We take the production side and coordinate load-in, power and timing directly with the venue so you are not relaying technical questions between parties.

Do you handle setup and strike?

Yes. Delivery, setup, testing before doors, on-site operation through the event and removal afterwards are part of a produced booking.
