A New Year’s Eve party has one moment everyone is waiting for, and hours of celebration around it. We plan both: the music and lighting that keep the dance floor full from the first guest to the last, and a midnight sequence where the countdown, the music drop and any effect land together.

Planning the midnight countdown
The countdown is the part guests remember, and the part that goes wrong when it is improvised. We run it from a reference clock rather than a TV or streaming feed, which can run behind real time. Countdown content plays on an LED video wall or a projector and screen, the MC calls the final seconds, and the DJ times the track so the drop hits at midnight.
If you want an effect at midnight, it is cued into the same sequence. Cold sparks, confetti and CO2 — like haze and any similar effect — are subject to venue approval, fire-safety approval, local rules and site conditions. Confetti also comes with cleanup requirements, so raise it with your venue early.
Lighting and sound that carry the whole night
Midnight lasts a minute; the party lasts hours. Can we have confetti, cold sparks or CO2 at midnight?
Often, yes, but it is never automatic. Cold sparks, confetti, CO2, haze and similar effects are always subject to venue approval, fire-safety approval, local rules and site conditions. Some venues restrict or prohibit certain effects, and confetti also carries cleanup requirements. Ask your venue early; we can help you frame the request.
Do you produce New Year's Eve parties at private homes?
Yes. At a home or estate we plan power, load-in, placement and sound levels around the property and the neighbors, and remove everything after the party. Local noise rules and any HOA requirements are the host's to confirm; we will plan the production to fit them.
Can you handle a hotel ballroom or venue New Year's Eve event?
Yes. We coordinate with the hotel or venue's event and AV teams on load-in times, power, rigging rules and any in-house equipment already contracted. Some venues have their own requirements for outside production vendors, so share your venue contract terms early.
