Historic rooms reward lighting and punish rigging
A lot of what makes a Pasadena venue worth booking — coffered ceilings, ornamental plaster, original woodwork — is also what the property will not let you attach anything to. We plan these rooms around ground-supported lighting: uplighting on the architecture, pin-spots on tables from stands rather than from a grid, and LED walls on ground support instead of flown.
This is usually a better look anyway. Washing original detail in warm light does more for a historic room than a truss structure competing with it. What it costs you is floor space and sightlines, so we lay the plan out against the floorplan before you commit to a guest count.
The drive matters more than the distance
Pasadena is not far from Tarzana in miles, but the route crosses the middle of Los Angeles and the timing is entirely traffic-dependent. For an evening event we schedule load-out from the warehouse early enough that a bad afternoon on the 134 does not become your problem, and we build the setup schedule with that buffer already in it rather than hoping.

Do you bring your own equipment or sub-rent locally?
Our own. The sound, lighting and LED inventory arrives on our truck and is operated by the crew that programmed it. Nothing is sub-rented into the market.
Can you provide a certificate of insurance for our venue?
Yes. We are fully insured and can provide a certificate of insurance to any venue on request. Where a property has its own documentation requirements, we confirm those directly with them for your date.
Which services can you provide for a Pasadena event?
DJ and MC, sound, intelligent lighting, LED video walls, staging and special effects, live musicians, and AV equipment rental — as a full production from one team or as individual elements.
