We have produced a wedding at a Santa Barbara-area country club, and we are glad to look at events there. What we will not do is present it as a market we cover routinely. Everything we bring travels up from Tarzana, which means a longer load-out, a longer day for the crew, and in most cases an overnight component rather than a same-day return after strike.
So the honest answer to a Santa Barbara enquiry is: yes, tell us the date and the venue, and we will tell you what it genuinely takes. The proposal will show travel and crew as their own lines rather than buried in a package price.
What travelling with our own inventory buys you
The advantage of a travel event handled this way is that nothing is sub-rented in an unfamiliar market. The same sound, lighting and LED inventory we use in Los Angeles arrives on the truck, and the crew operating it is the crew that programmed it. For a destination wedding that is the difference between a system you have heard and a system you are hoping about.
The trade-off is lead time. A travel event needs more of it, and last-minute Santa Barbara dates are genuinely harder for us to take on than last-minute Los Angeles ones.

Yes. We are fully insured and can provide a certificate of insurance to any venue on request. Where a property has its own documentation requirements, we confirm those directly with them for your date.
